For the past few decades, China has been integrated into the world amid welcome and speculation. Some countries are enjoying the fruits of China's economic development, while others are worried that China is too close to the center of the world stage. 

Will China go beyond its own mandate to “overtake other countries”? Would China's future development strategy to focus on domestic development or overseas expansion?

Mr. WANG Gangyi，former vice president of China International Publishing Group, senior research fellow of the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies ，shared his view during the webinar “China today and tomorrow” jointly organized by Ditchley Foundation, China Forum and Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies on May 20-21, 2021.He said China would continue to focus on its own development and would never try to put a hand in others’ affairs.
